Untitled '06-03-09'How sweet the sound of a million wants;  wishes, wills, and needs.  Given up for another's sake;  such a selfless deed.   
But how magnanimous is a heart,  writhing in it's pain,  to know the object of affections lust  will only feel the same?   
A covetous soul whom just gives up,  gives in, sits down, and quits,  can never know what could have been  had he not demit.   
And so the query on his mind  will always be the same.  He'll wonder just what could have been  had he played the game. Untitled '06-03-09'

The Strength to GoWalking or wading or sloshing or skating  but still moving in whatever direction will allow.  The walls are building and falling and blocking and hiding  yet I continue on and on until I barely can.  It's that ultimate goal, the prize I desire;  to move endlessly and aimlessly through the pits and peaks  wrestling with self, society, and salvation.   
The easy outs and give up nows entice me to quit;  but I strive and push and look inside and step once more.  My goal is alive and just out of reach  peaking her head to check my progress.  A test, I guess, and nothing more  to see The Strength to Go

A Time for UsFor the rest of us there's Halloween.     That one day where anything goes  and we are free to be ourselves or someone else.     The day we can dress, or undress,  and not worry about mocking, snickering faces in the dark.     It is our day.     The time when angels and demons dance together around a keg  in hopes of finding a drunken dame with which to copulate.     Fun.     And this is our time.     We move about from place to place unnoticed by the general analytical public.     So take your Christmas and E A Time for Us

Summer's Coming

Well hello to everyone out there. I haven't written in a while and sadly still haven't been posting very much artwork. I have faith that that will change soon. There are three major reasons.
1.) I am likely moving to a completely different part of the country in the next couple of months. I'm going from Louisiana to Connecticut.
2.) I am also taking a trip to Florida for a week or so which also has very different scenery from the last two mentioned locations.
3.) I'm going to Alaska.
I know, wow, a lot of traveling. Yes, and I usually don't travel much, but when a great opportunity presents itself I can't pass it up. I'm hoping for some great photography. I also have been writing some poetry that I'm not sure about, but I may post it to get some critiques. All-in-all, things should start happening on my slothful page. Keep checking back! And thanks to everyone for checking this out!
